A true story of a 1970s Hippie. A college boy Hippie named Corry has been a secret Psychic all his life. The Spirits and voices present since infancy have for the first time become scary. Corry is warned by his spirits he is in danger and must "retreat." Corry thinks they mean for him to go back to his childhood home 100 miles away from Atlanta, and the perilous adventure begins. Corry is stopped in a little town outside of Atlanta, Georgia and the rural police are happy to have a Hippie to torture for days. Corry's mother is expecting him and has her influential friends searching and find him days later in a solitary confinement cell where he has been left to die. In the hospital he is in a coma for about a week and near blind from the torture detailed in the story. The time covered is almost a year of first one adventure and then another. Beautifully written so you feel you are there with Corry.
